I have never been so busy in all of my life and there are days when I just can’t handle it :O) Honestly, my nature is to relax and enjoy. Think of the most uptight, retentive person that you know and then turn them inside-out! That’s me! I don’t wear a watch. I don’t do to do lists, calendars, PDAs and all of that jibe. My desktop is slightly cluttered. No place is everything’s place. I function in it, but I need a slight change. Now it is no where near what it used to be, but it certainly isn’t where I want it to be either. My life is in the shift process and I am shifting. The process means that I have to get organized, because the high water is coming. So I today am struggling because I forgot to do some important things. I have to tell myself to stay on top of the details, because my focus is always the big pic! What’s the goal? Give me a theme, some colors, a date and a guest list and it will be done, because life for me is like art work. You know what the end should look like and you paint. The only problem with art is that you can’t quite explain how you get to the end result. You just know the medium you used and maybe the inspiration. I thank God for my boss, because she has helped whip me into shape. She’s a detail gal and I’m not, but I am learning…slowly surely…I am learning! I must learn before I hit the road to the U, because I have a whole lot to do before I go!

Natasha,
Ok, first, you need to breathe. Girl, one thing I have realized in this MPD process is that you MUST be organized. Now is the time to purchase a calender or better yet a palm pilot. Now is the time to get post-it notes and stick them everywhere. I understand your struggle, I am not an organized person by nature, but now, I have to be.
You mentioned in your blog that you will have to “slightly change”, I am here to bring you bad news. You have to change your organization patterns more than slightly for MPD. Just buy a couple of things that you think will get you on the organization track and force yourself to focus. Plus, pray and ask God to strengthen you, because none of us can do this without Him.
I totally did not mean to come across harsh, so forgive me if I did. I don’t even know if you wanted advice or if you are just venting. Anyway, I love you girl. I feel your struggle.

Mel…not harsh at all, real and straight to the point! LOL Thank you for the boost. The organization doesn’t have to change a little…it has to change a lot! I have never in my mind…..I’m holding on because this ride is serious. I am so used to doing what I need to do on my own and with this I need HELP, but my help is on the way! Thank you! I am going to keep it movin’ in Jesus’ name! I keep reading your blog and the inspiration will come!

Hi Natasha!
Wow! Still catching up after our period of much travel. Anyways, it was Diane V. who told me that you were headed for the U. (Did I tell you that Danylak is a U-name?) Now looking at your newsletter, if the schedule hasn’t changed, you may be returning from the U even today! Anxious to hear how it went and hoping it was a great experience for the CFCC group.
Joyfully, Dennis & Barb
